The Resort

Cherating Beach is located on the eastern coastline of Malaysia and resembles a tropical Eden on the shores of a jade sea.

With its bungalows on stilts nestling among luxurious vegetation, this 197 acre Club Med Resort strives to the rhythm of the macaws, gibbons, giant lizards, rare species of birds and multicolored butterflies.

From an excursion* by pirogue, to a relaxation session at the Club Med Spa* or a cocktail around our magnificent bar, every unique pleasure is catered for.

Accommodation

On the coast of Malaysia, 37 miles from Kuantan, looking out at the Sea of China, welcome to a new Eden where the focus is on luxury, refinement and the exotic. The 297 rooms are divided between 15 three-storey buildings. The locally-inspired buildings, built on piles and accessed by stairways, are all made from the luxurious teak wood.
