SINGAPORE FLYER - If you arrive in Singapore early in the morning, you have the option of a direct transfer to the Singapore Flyer, Singapore's newest visitor attraction, before checking in at your hotel.  Similarly, if you need to catch an evening flight, you can arrange for a transfer to the Singapore Flyer after hotel check-out, to relax above the city bustle.

SENTOSA ISLAND RESORT - Sentosa is an idyllic resort island just 15 minutes from the city.  The refreshing retreat offers a unique blend of leisure and recreational activities including experiential attractions, a nightly water-laser-fire spectacular, water sports, nature trails, historical enclaves, golf courses and hotel retreats.  Boasting a stretch of 3.2 kilometres of white sand beach, it is the only place in Singapore with beachfront accommodation.

MALAY HERITAGE CENTRE - The Istana Kampong Gelam was completed 162 years ago by Sultan Ali, son of Sultan Hussein Shah.

Today, the Istana Kampong Gelam is home to the Malay Heritage Museum, with nine galleries showcasing the roots, history and material culture of the Singapore Malays.  Be enthralled by the seafaring might of the Bugis people; be enchanted by the regalia of Malay royalty and the golden years of the Malay entertainment industry.  And see the achievements and works of our Malay artists who have earned international accolades.  Also, visit the pottery artists at work.

CAPTAIN EXPLORER AMPHIBIOUS BOAT TOUR - The fun begins when you board an authentic revamped WWII amphibious boat.  The Funbassador will be entertaining you with stories of the history of city landmarks in the Colonial district.  View the imposing Parliament House, Supreme Court and City Hall.  Continue the excitement when the amphibious boat splashes down the water in the Marina Bay.  Catch sight of the majestic Merlion at the mouth of the Singapore River and enjoy the view of Singapore's arts centre - the Esplanade Theatres on the Bay.

Getting there: Take the West Line MRT (underground train) to Boon Lay MRT station.  From there, take SBS Transit bus 194 or 251.

THE SINGAPORE ZOO - Visit the award winning Singapore Zoo!  This eight-time recipient of the “Best Leisure Attraction Experience” award by the Singapore Tourism Board is one of the best and most beautiful zoos in the world.  Set in a rainforest environment, it is home to over 2,530 animals representing 315 species, 16% of which are endangered.  Singapore Zoo offers visitors the opportunity to experience and be inspired by the wonders of nature.

The key exhibits comprise the free ranging orang utans, white tiger, Australian Outback, Fragile Forest, Hamadryas Baboons - the Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia and Elephants of Asia.

Other must-see highlights at the park include watching the educationally entertaining Splash Safari Show, the Elephants at Work and At Play Show as well as the Animal Friends Show.

Upon arrival at Singapore Changi Airport, pick up your special identification card at the SIA Singapore Stopover Holiday counter.  Present the identification card and vouchers at the relevant locations to enjoy any of the special Singapore Stopover Holiday privileges.

Singapore Stopover Holiday 2008-2009 is available from 1 April 2008 to 31 March 2009.
