ITINERARY
Day 1 - ARRIVE CAIRO |
Welcome to Egypt- a mystical and timeless land, where ancient and modern live side by side. You are met at the airport and transferred to your Cairo hotel.

Day 2 - CAIRO SIGHTSEEING |
Meet your Tour Director for a detailed pre-tour briefing then proceed to the Great Pyramids at Giza! Your guided tour includes a look at the Sphinx and a visit into one of the Pyramids. Nearby, in Memphis, see the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx. Continue to Sakkara, to visit the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the oldest in the world. Return to Giza as night falls to attend a magical Sound and Light Show at the world famous Pyramids. (BB) |
Day 3 - CAIRO- LUXOR |
Transfer to the airport for your flight south to Luxor, and check into your famous hotel, originally built in 1886 to attract the nobility of Europe. The afternoon is at leisure.

Day 4 - LUXOR- CRUISING |
This morning is devoted to Karnak, the largest temple complex built by man. Walk past the Ram-headed sphinxes, to stand in awe among the huge columns of the vast Hypostyle Hall. At lunch time board your luxury cruise ship, one of the most stylish and spacious in Egypt. Journey down river to overnight on-board at Dendara.

Day 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10 - ABOARD RIVER TOSCA |
During your time on board you will experience the following sightseeing and excursions: visits to the temple complexes at Dendara, Edfu and Kom Ombo, plus a visit to the famous Luxor Temple. There are two excursions by sightseeing coach; the West Bank at Luxor which includes a photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon, a visit to the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and entry into three of the Pharaohs' tombs in the Valley of the Kings. In Aswan your excursion includes a motorboat to the temple complex on the island of Philae, visits to the High Dam and unfinished obelisk in the granite quarries, plus a sail in a traditional felucca.
While cruising breakfast, lunch and dinner (BB,L,D) are served daily and one night you get to celebrate Egyptian style at a Galabea Party and Dinner. (HD) |
Day 11 - LUXOR- CAIRO |
Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight back to your stylish hotel in Cairo, where you are at leisure.

Day 12 - CAIRO SIGHTSEEING |
Prepare yourself for a highlight visit to the Egyptian Museum to stare in amazement at the priceless treasures recovered from the tomb of Tutankhamun. Later, enjoy fine views over the city from the Citadel of Salah El Din before visiting the alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali, with its highly ornate interior. The rest of the day is at leisure. (BB) |
