Day 1 Brunei Singapore SQ 181- 1220/1430 connecting
Singapore Christchurch SQ 297- 1940/1030* (Meals on board)
Assemble 2½ hours at Brunei airport for your flight to Christchurch. Upon arrival at Christchurch Airport you are met and transferred to your hotel. (Self-drive passengers collect your rental car for your exclusive use until the end of the tour package.) Overnight at Camelot Cathedral Square Hotel
Day 2 Christchurch – Mt. Cook - Queenstown (620 km)
Travel across the Canterbury Plains to reach Mt. Cook by lunch time. A rare opportunity here to take an optional scenic flight for an overview of Mt Cook’s ice falls, snowfields and glaciers. Your journey continues over the Lindis Pass and through the Kawarau Gorge to Queenstown. Overnight at Aspen on Queenstown.
Day 3 Queenstown - Milford Sound (300 km) (D)
Boarding the coach in Queenstown, visitors are treated to a relaxing trip along the shore of Lake Wakatipu through rolling countryside to Te Anau. There is time for photo stops and short walks along the way. Departing from Milford Wharf, join the nature guide and friendly crew for a full length cruise of Milford Sound. Keep an eye out for wildlife, especially fur seals basking on the rocks. There is plenty of time for you to go exploring in the kayaks and tender craft and relax on deck. As the shadows lengthen, the Milford Wandered returns under sail (weather permitting) to Harrison Cove for the night. A hearty evening meal is provided. (Self-drive passengers drive to Milford Sound to join the seat-in coach passengers on board the “MilfordWanderer” for the rest of the evening). Overnight at Aspen on Queenstown.
Day 4 Milford Sound - Queenstown (300 km) (B)
This morning there is the opportunity to go kayaking, or explore on shore before returning to the wharf for your coach ride back to Queenstown. Overnight at Aspen on Queenstown.
Day 5 Queenstown
To day a cruise on the vintage ‘Old Lady’ the TSS Earnslaw to Walter Peak High Country Farm for an excursion at the Colonel’s Homestead. When you board the boat’s return journey, join in the sing- a-long session for a memorable 40 minutes trip. (The ‘TSS Earnslaw’ is away on its annual service in June and July and therefore is replaced with other activity or activities that will be advised).
Overnight at Aspen on Queenstown.
Day 6 Queenstown - West Coast Glaciers (420 km)
Travel to the Kawarau Gorge past Lake Dunstan on toward Wanaka. On past Lake Hawea as you head
toward "the neck". A stop is made in Makarora before crossing the Southern Alps as you enter the Haast Pass. We pause at Knights Point to view magnificent seascapes. From here pass Lakes Moeraki and Paringa then past Bruce Bay to arrive at the Glaciers. Overnight at Scenic Circle Glacier Country Hotel.
Day 7 West Coast Glaciers (B)
A full day at leisure to enjoy the magnificent glaciers. Climb on to the slow moving river of ice or take a scenic flight (optional) for a bird's eye view of this spectacular terrain. Overnight at Scenic Circle Glacier Country Hotel.
Day 8 West Coast Glaciers - Greymouth – Christchurch (420 km) (B)
Travel along the coast to Greymouth to join The Tranz Alpine train across the Southern Alps to Christchurch (seat-in coach passengers only). (Self-drive passengers travel via Arthur's Pass road en route to Christchurch). Overnight at Camelot Cathedral Square Hotel
Day 9 Christchurch Singapore SQ 298 – 1150/1725 (Meals on Board)
Early this morning a tour on the ‘Hot Air Balloon’ is suggested if time permits.
Transfer to the airport is included for your departure flight. (Self-drive passengers return your car directly at the airport). Upon arrival in Singapore Airport, proceed to SIA counter for coach transfer to hotel of your choice. Overnight in Singapore at Allson Hotel or similar. (Please book your coach pick-up time for next day transfer)
Day 10 Singapore Brunei SQ 182 – 0900/1115 (Meals on board)
Prearranged early morning transfer to Changi International; Airport for flight departure to Brunei
(Hand carry-7kg only. Liquids amount less then 75ml per bottle)
