9DAYS 8NIGHTS NEW ZEALAND DELIGHTS

Day 1 Brunei Singapore  SQ 181 – 1220 / 1430 connecting
Singapore Auckland  SQ 285 – 2100 /1155* (Meal on board)
Assemble 2½ hours at Brunei airport for your flight to Auckland. Upon arrival at Auckland Airport you are met and transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure to explore the city. (Self-drive passengers collect your rental car for your exclusive use until the end of the tour package.) Overnight at Scenic Circle Airedale Hotel

Day 2 Auckland - Waitomo Caves - Rotorua (370 km) (D)
This coach tour travels over the rugged volcanic terrain of the Mamaku Ranges and through the picturesque Fitzgerald Glade. The highlight is the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves and the visit is climaxed by drifting silently in a boat on the underground river under the milky way of millions of glow worms on the cavern roof above you. This evening enjoy a night of truly authentic, traditional culture and entertainment. Join in a time of sharing and feasting to a selection of foods cooked the traditional Maori way on hot stones in an authentic earthen oven. Overnight at Sudima Hotel Lake Rotorua.

Day 3 Rotorua (L)
Today's tour includes Te Puia - Thermal Reserve to see roaring geysers, steaming rivers and boiling mud pools. Following this, you will travel to Rainbow Springs to view trout and other wildlife and the famous Agrodome Sheep Show. After tour a ride on the Gondola up to Mt Ngongataha for a buffet lunch and for the more courageous ones a ride on the “Luge” is included. (Self-drive passengers have the flexibility to explore the many other interesting activities in and around Rotorua). Overnight at Sudima Hotel Lake Rotorua.

Day 4 Rotorua Queenstown (by air)
Transfer to Rotorua Airport for your flight to Queesntown where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. (Airfare from Rotorua to Queenstown excluded). Rest of the day is free for the many optional activities available in and around Queenstown. (Self-drive passengers return your car to Rotorua Airport and collect your South Island Car on arrival at Queenstown Airport). Overnight at Aspen on Queenstown Hotel.

Day 5 Queenstown
This is completely free day for you to pursue your own activities. Queenstown offers jet boating, lake cruised, bungy jumping, rafting, hose riding, gondola rides and may be a visit to the Sky Alpine Casino. (Your Sight Saver discount booklet is full of exciting and interesting sightseeing options). Overnight at Aspen on Queenstown Hotel.

Day 6 Milford Sounds Excursion (600 km)
An early start as you follow Lake Wakatipu via Kingston arriving at Te Anau for morning tea break (not included). From here you enter Fiordland National Park. Travel through beech forest, passing majestic mountains, on through the Homer Tunnel in time to board your catamaran for the Milford Sound Cruise. You will pass Mitre Peak, the highest mountain in the world to rise vertically from the sea. View the Stirling and Bowen Falls as you cruise out to the Tasman Sea. Return to the pier where you reboard your coach for your return journey to Queenstown. Overnight at Aspen on Queenstown Hotel.

Day 7 Queenstown – Mt.Cook – Christchurch (600km) (B)
This morning we travel over the Lindis Pass to reach Mt Cook around lunch time. A rare opportunity to take an optional scenic flight to view Mt Cook's snow fields and glaciers. We continue through to Lake Tekapo and across the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch. Overnight at Scenic Circle Glacier Country Hotel.

Day 8 Christchurch Singapore SQ 298 – 1150/1725 (Meals on Board)
Early this morning a tour on the ‘Hot Air Balloon’ is suggested if time permits. Transfer to the airport is included for your departure flight. (Self-drive passengers return your car directly at the airport). Upon arrival, proceed to SIA counter for coach transfer to hotel of your choice. Overnight in Singapore at Allson Hotel or similar. (Please book your coach pick-up time for next day transfer)

Day 9 Singapore  Brunei SQ 182 – 0900/1115 (Meals on board)
Prearranged early morning transfer to Changi International; Airport for flight departure to Brunei.
