7DAYS 6NIGHTS SOUTHERN ALPINE

Day 1 Brunei Singapore SQ 181- 1220/1430 connecting
Singapore Christchurch SQ 297- 1940/1030* (Meals on board)
Assemble 2½ hours at Brunei airport for your flight to Christchurch. Upon arrival at Christchurch Airport you are met and transferred to your hotel. (Self-drive passengers collect your rental car for your exclusive use until the end of the tour package.) Overnight at Camelot Cathedral Square Hotel

Day 2 Christchurch - Kaikoura (183km)
This morning you will be taken to Kaikoura on board the Tranz coastal Train. The rest of the day is free for optional Whale Watching cruise. (Self-drive passenger drive to Kaikoura). Overnight at White Morph Motor Inn Hotel

Day 3   Kaikoura – Bheleim - Nelson
Rejoin the Tranz Coastal train to Bheleim and continue by coach to Nelson (Self drive will drive to Nelson). Overnight at Rutherford Hotel

Day 4 Nelson - Greymouth (290 km)
Today we cross the Hope Saddle to Kawatiri Junction before entering the Buller Gorge and following the Buller River to Westport. We view the amazing Pancake Rock formation at Punakaiki and then on to Greymouth, nestled on the banks of the Grey River. Overnight at Kingsgate Greymouth Hotel

Day 5 Greymouth - Christchurch (250 km)
The spectacular journey today by rail on one of the world's best scenic train journeys. The Tranz Alpine winds across spectacular gorges and river valleys, through lush beech forest and over the massive Southern Alps in Arthur's Pass National Park to Christchurch. (Self-drive passengers can visit Shantytown, a reconstructed gold mining village, where you can actually pan for gold before drive to Christchurch). Overnight at Camelot Cathedral Square Hotel

Day 6 Christchurch Singapore SQ 298 – 1150/1725 (Meals on Board)
Early this morning a tour on the ‘Hot Air Balloon’ is suggested if time permits.
Transfer to the airport is included for your departure flight. (Self-drive passengers return your car directly at the airport). Upon arrival in Singapore Airport, proceed to SIA counter for coach transfer to hotel of your choice. Overnight in Singapore at Allson Hotel or similar. (Please book your coach pick-up time for next day transfer)

Day 7 Singapore  Brunei SQ 182 – 0900/1115 (Meals on board)
Prearranged early morning transfer to Changi International Airport for flight departure to Brunei.
(Hand carry-7kg only. Liquids amount less then 75ml per bottle)
