It is easy to understand why Bruneians, coming from warm tropical island are inclined to make 
holiday plans to visit countries like South Korea where snow and skiing beckon. A must do for Korea is to see the famous three , kimchi, ginseng ( age old root remedy ) and amethyst – a transparent purple gemstone .
Do experience the art of making kimchi any chance you get .It is an unforgettable experience .Many may go solely for the purpose of enjoying the winter scene and skiing and South Korea, being a temperate country is reknown for its kimchi and ginseng, is also known for its huge all-day shopping centers, as well as its health and beauty spas. Its many theme parks and the amethyst industry have also caught tourist attention. Otherwise another place to soak up carefree moments is the Cheongyecheon Stream. The man-made water feature has fountains, live band performances and colourful light structures dotting a 6.8km stretch.
But for our Bruneian tourist South Korea promises to please every imaginable shopping interest including finding designer brands such as Burberry, Coach, A Testonin, Armani, Anna Sui, Diesel, Polo Ralph Lauren and local Korean brands as Kim Young Joo and Hazzys.If upscale apparel brands are not your cup of tea, there can be no better shopping than Dongdaemun Market in Seoul . This awesome wholesale and retail market is open all day and night. Dongdaemun is part of an evergrowing district made up of 26 shopping malls, 30’000 specialty shops with 50’000 brands. Here you can shop for almost anything from clothes, bags, accessories, electronic products, shoes, toys, cameras and more. Lets not forget there is even retail activity in its underground malls.
Youths rules the nearby Sinchon-dong university district in nearby Incheon City . Well dressed teenagers and those in their 20’s fill the pubs, restaurants, boutiques, shoe stores and beauty salons that caters to the mainly undergraduates from Ewha Women’s University , one of the three tertiary institutions here.
Don’t forget to visit The Face Shop at its many outlets in the city. This well-known international South Korean company deals in health and beauty products for women and men alike offering low prices and its natural ingredients used . Here we can find anything from facial masks and cleansers to face creams and hair conditioners.
There are many more other attractions such as hot springs, national parks, theme parks like the Yong In Everland in Seoul, Lotte World , temples, palaces, museums, casinos, mountains, streams and waterfalls.
